Understanding Aging and the Essential Products you Need to Combat it

Our skin is an amazing organ that works perfectly until it becomes overburdened with toxins or begins to age. Unfortunately, we often don’t realize that the aging process starts as early as age 25 because we don’t always see the signs.

As we get older, our skin experiences a gradual decline in circulation, collagen, growth factors, and healing ability at a rate of about 1% per year. The best way to prevent aging is to supplement each of these losses, but how can we do that? It may seem like a daunting task, but properly formulated skincare products can influence these actions within our skin.

The difference between a product that works and one that only claims to work comes down to a few key factors.

Ingredients must be nontoxic .
Just because a product is labeled “all natural” does not mean it is non-toxic. All natural is a marketing term and there are no standards in place for regulating the truth behind this claim.

Active ingredients need intelligent delivery systems .
Without a proper delivery system, active ingredients won’t penetrate the dermis, where real change occurs. Osmosis uses several intelligent delivery systems, including exosomes technology and liposomal delivery.

Heal, don’t harm.
The days of using trauma to stimulate a collagen response are over. Ingredients like harsh acids may feel like they are working, but the immediate plumping effect is nothing more than inflammation being mistaken for an increase in collagen.

I selected Osmosis because the brand is built on these principals.

The Purpose of Serums

In any product line, the serums are the products that should be doing the heavy lifting. With Osmosis, you’ll find the strongest of them all in the core 4 serums.

Each one of these serums targets a different loss in skin function.

Here are just some of the results your clients will experience when they start using the Core 4 Serums in their own routine.

Osmosis MD STEMFACTOR  This growth factor serum increases overall skin health by supplementing the loss of growth factors and proteins we experience during the aging process. StemFactor improves all aspects of aging and damage by encouraging the skin’s repair process and stimulating new cell development for youthful skin.

Osmosis MD RESCUE  Our best-selling serum is like nothing else. It stabilizes free radicals on contact. It helps to combat toxins, repair compromised skin, all while improving texture, and evening skin tone. It revitalizes tired skin, brightens the complexion, and improves hydration.

Osmosis MD RENEW  The Osmosis answer for a Vitamin A serum! It stimulates collagen production by delivering the most effective form of Vitamin A deep into the skin without causing irritation. It erases fine lines, increases volume, and improves uneven pigmentation, creating a more even skin tone.

Osmosis MD CATALYST AC-11  This groundbreaking serum uses Vitamin C to aid in hydroxylation. A crucial component of collagen building. It improves the healing response and reduces pigmentation, scarring, and appearance of visible capillaries. It also improves skin elasticity and radiance.

As the seasons change from Winter to Spring, it's important to adjust your skincare routine to keep your skin healthy and glowing. Here are the TOP TIPS to make the transition smooth:  Swap out heavy moisturizers for lighter formulas. In the spring, you can typically switch to lighter moisturizers or serums that still provide hydration without feeling heavy or greasy on the skin.  Use a gentle cleanser. As the weather warms up, you may not need a heavy-duty cleanser to remove excess oil and dirt. Switch to a gentle cleanser that won't strip your skin of its natural oils.  Add antioxidants to your routine. Vitamin E, green tea, and ginkgo biloba extracts work together to block damaging UVA and UVB rays.  Don't forget sunscreen! Even if it's not quite hot outside, UV rays can still damage your skin. Make sure to apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every day.  Exfoliate gently. This can help remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture. It's important to be gentle, especially if your skin is still recovering from winter dryness. Look for gentle exfoliants that won't irritate your skin.  Pay attention to your lips. Cold, dry winter weather can leave your lips chapped and flaky. Use a hydrating serum to restore a healthier barrier to the delicate skin on your lips.
